For the purpose of Data Protection legislation (which includes, but is not limited to, the UK Data Protection Bill and also the GDPR), the data controller Far East Consortium International Limited (FECIL) and Manchester City Council in relation to any personal data that is held will observe all obligations under the Data Protection legislation and the Data Protection Principles. These obligations will be continuously reviewed in line with the ongoing regulations to ensure compliance.

You do not have to supply personal details. However, it will help us to work towards meeting the needs of the public during the consultation period and will enable us to contact you with updates on the scheme. Your personal details will be stored in compliance with the GDPR by Counter Context acting on behalf of FEC.

As part of a planning application, FEC may submit to the Local Planning Authority a complete copy of all correspondence received (excluding any details such as your name, address and email where you have provided them). This ensures all your comments are available to the Council during the consideration of the planning application. Personal data will not be passed onto any other third parties.

As mentioned, we may use external services such as Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to display certain content on our website. Your information will be stored on a secure server that has an imaging back up service. We share your personal data within Far East Consortium International Limited (FECIL) and Manchester City Council. In general, the personal data that we collect from you will be stored at a destination within the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). However, we may also transfer your data outside the EEA, if stored on external platforms.

Please note that some countries outside of the EEA have a lower standard of protection for personal data, including lower security requirements and fewer rights for individuals.
