Collyhurst Village plans submitted

This month, we’re submitting our planning application for 244 new homes and the first phase of Collyhurst Village Park.

The final plans include 244 new homes, made up of 168 houses and 76 apartments, including 100 new Council homes. The biggest change we have made to the plans, since our last phase of consultation, is to provide the apartments in two buildings rather than three, one of which will be prioritised for older people.

Our design team has worked hard to include local people’s feedback into the final designs. One of the main requests we received from local people was to keep more of the trees currently on the development site, which the changes to the apartment buildings on Rochdale Road has helped us to do.

Manchester City Council’s planning department will now consider our planning application and we expect a decision in late spring or early summer.
